Hello! I'm Ryan, and I'm a 27-year-old illustrator from Caerphilly, South Wales. As a fluent Welsh speaker, I am incredibly passionate about the language and feel a strong connection to my Welsh identity.

 

I have had a love of drawing for as long as I can remember. Having chosen Art & Design as both a GCSE and A Level subject, I always had the goal of eventually working in the creative industry. Starting in 2014, I studied BA (Hons) Animation at the University of South Wales, ultimately graduating with a an upper second class honours degree (2:1) in 2017.

 

I have illustrated three books so far, all of which as part of the Handy Learners series which is aimed at adult Welsh learners. The first of which, Del Does Sport, was published in 2021, followed by Del Does Parenting (2021) and Del Does Social Media (2022).
